NAWLINS Trip Day1-2

I love it here a lot, first time being in the south. Also brought some cookies, so have been high this whole trip so far.

I arrived on tuesday at 11pm, went to eat at some 24hour diner. then went back and slept.

Dog I am staying with. he loves me, a bit too much. Have to push him off me a lot.

First real meal there. arrived the night before and went to sleep. woke up around lunch so sister took me there. Ate Catfish, alligator balls (the shape), fried okra, crab soup, and thats it.

If I was 7, I would be in heaven. This park was really cool.'

it had really clean water

fed some animals. Nutria Rats, turtles, and countless types of birds. It was actually a lot of fun.

never saw a nutria rat before, they are pretty cute

we also saw 4 turtles swimming together.

sister bought me a drive-through Daiquiri. they have those here.

ate a hot pickle, it was pretty tasty.

saw this aligator in a lot of places

befriended some locals, they were amazed by my originality with photos.
will post pt. 2 later today, if I have time. goin to a bar today

a really shitty old camera, I had a better camera, but was charging it's battery in the car on the way to airport, and just forgot to take it... hahaha

Moving to the south in the fall. I love it here so much. Defiantly a much different way of living than what I have known all my life.

Things a much more relaxed and slower, until you get on the interstate then its like Nascar. But I have enjoy this last decade of living down here but I'm ready to go back north, only so many summers you can stand when it's so humid out you have to swim through the air to your car.

The abandoned Six Flags might be of interest to you. I have friends who go out there and come back with neat photos and new scars from playing too rough on old rotten whatnot.

i went down there recently for my spring break, and decided i'm moving there in sept. things to do: go eat at the joint, go to the country club and swim naked, go to the end of the world, go to bacchanal.
