Another reminder to send recipes. We have a reasonable assortment currently, some quite complicated and some very simple. It doesn't have to be fancy or pretty but pictures are welcomed so I don't have to hunt down similar looking images.

Remember to send your recipes to me at dandyspandex@hotmail.com! They don't have to be fancy. They don't have to look good, they just have to taste good or mean something to you. Send your mom's shitty meatloaf, or your dad's ballin' steak, or your favorite salad recipe. Send a frosting recipe, drink recipes, coffee recipes. Soup. Stew. Ballsack.

you're lucky i'm not too lazy to re-save the image since the asshole used imgur for his craigslist post. worth it? probably not.

So I've had about 10 people and about 20 recipes, some of which are still missing pictures but I can work with that.

This goes for everyone else, as well. Due date for all submissions is going to be July 7th. There will be a bit of production time, and the goal is to start selling them by September so people can purchase them and have them in time for Thanksgiving.
As usual, if there are any questions please make me aware.

So it appears that we have more than enough people that would be willing to submit recipes, so please begin by submitting recipes to me at dandyspandex@hotmail.com
Please provide high quality photos if you are able, and also your username. Also accepting "other" photos, as this is SG afterall...but please no attention whoring. I'm not sure how long it will take to get it all together and organized, but expect to hear more about pricing later on.


Edit: Deadline for submissions will be one month from now, 3/21/12. As we want the best photos possible and as many as possible, I want to give all of you fine people plenty of time to actually be able to make your dishes.

If we were to be putting together a cookbook full of recipes directly from SG'ers, who would be interested in submitting recipes? I know we have some great cooks around here.
I'm trying to figure out about how many pages we would have so I can sort out some pricing and the like.

EDIT: If this were to come to fruition, being a neurotic anal retentive perfectionist, there would absolutely be sections. Vegan, Beef, Chicken, Pasta, omgthiswillmakeyousofatbutsonom, etc.
